In the meantime, work around is don't disable bluetooth.
Yes, I discovered the problem after I had a black screen after the progress screen.
Way back in early August, I took the advice of the manual and turned off my Bluetooth. When I restarted through the menu, the black screen appeared and it seemed that the internal microSD card had been trashed. I patiently waited for another A600GS image to be sent, and I re-imaged the microSD card successfully. Then I went to the settings to turn off the Bluetooth and restarted ... big mistake... the microSD card was trashed again. I re-imaged again. I turned off the Bluetooth, restarted, card trashed... I finally figured out that turning off the Bluetooth was the culprit! I re-imaged, and I haven't touched the default Bluetooth setting of being on. No more start-up problems with the microSD card!
That Bluetooth change was a booby trap,
