Amiga emulation on Mac
« on: October 10, 2024, 06:39:39 PM »
Hi All,

New to this forum so hello and thank you!

Just after some advice for emulation on Mac.
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro, have downloaded FS-UAE, but nee the other bits to get me up and running.

Is there a recommendation where to purchase the Kickstart rooms? Amiga forever is PC only unfortunately, so id like some alternative recommendations for Mac.

Also, is there any other software I would need apart from FS-UAE and the kickstarter rooms? I watched a video about some guy talking about flower pots before I glazed over...

Thanks in advance

Regardless to the fact Amiga Forever is PC based. As far as I am aware this is the only method to acquire legally the Amiga ROM sets up to version 3.1.

As for the latest, then you need to buy Hyperions Amiga 3.2 software. Which then allows you to register the key you get with the CD-ROM to download any updated ROM and AmigaOS files.
