Server issues
« on: July 22, 2024, 03:31:07 PM »
Blocked offending IP and also tweaked server, so speed should be alot faster.
If there are any issues, let me know.

EDIT: added more security to try and stop issues.

Have done some more tweaking and now have erradicated the last of the dodgy chinese ip's hammering server.
Hopefully, it will stay that way.

Is there a way to hide all the A600GS support threads from the first page?

"By your command".

Your profile, drop down, select ignore boards. Tick A600GS.
Now you will not see any thread or post from that Board.

Seems fine here for the last couple of days, well done.

I wonder if the same or similar has to be done for the AmigaDeveloper forum (although it's not really being used much recently)?

Best regards,

Niels

Amiga Developer is on same server. So will block same ip's on that. Still need to update it.

I think we can safely say this is done and dusted.
Had no further issues for last 5 days. :)

Seems they have changed tactics. I have added some measures to restart stuff if it hangs up.
So this should solve it. Fingers crossed, as amiga.org is obviously being targeted.
