A good proxy program
« on: March 21, 2004, 03:55:36 PM »
Hi,

I am looking for a good proxy program. Can anyone give me a tip on which one would be good? Since I like to access the chatroom and it does not work with insecure proxies I like to have a proxy that does. The one I use now does not work with an IRC client. It's an insecure one. Any help is welcome.

Squid??? M$ ISA3.0??? I use both at work, both seem as secure as each other, both give good performance, both can act as a software router, only difference is one is free the other will set you back AU$1600 or thereabouts.

Hi adz/nEx,

Thnx for the tips. I will try them out. If one of them lets me use an IRC client and connect to the Amiga.org chatroom I am a happy man.
