« on: October 08, 2022, 11:25:51 AM »
Hello everyone, I am having trouble installing Windows 10. When I am going to activate Win 10, sometimes the installation got frozen. Could someone please help me to solve it? Any help would be highly appreciated.

are you trying to activate them during installation?
ignore the activate prompt, choose 'i don't have a key'
and activate after the installation.

After searching online, I came across this guide. I followed some methods from here. After doing the tasks properly, the problem got solved. Now I have no longer any issues while installing Windows 10.

I had the same problem when I was setting up my sister's computer last month. What fixed it for me was using a USB stick instead of a DVD. I made sure to format the USB properly and used the Windows Media Creation Tool to get the ISO. Also, I unplugged everything that wasn't necessary (like my external hard drive and printer) during the installation.

Windows 10 support window is now up as of October 2025. So it’s upgrade time or move to something else…

If he had Win8 or 8.1 with a UFEI bios, then key will be stored in bios.
This is what happened to my current very old mobo, 2013. I never get prompted for keys as it knows key already.

Like already said, try USB stick. Or look to the tool that patches win 11 to run on any machine.
Thats how I got windows 11 on my 2013 gaming setup. Ive even noticed an increase in general speed.
