What it's always been, i.e. a cess pit of supposedly intelligent upright walking hairless apes?
Some people say that cats are sneaky, evil and cruel. True, and they have many other fine qualities as well.

Words fail me in this situation. In fact I don't even think I have an emotion that would cover this sort of barbarity.

Heh....why don't you ask the Bush administration. I'm sure there are TONS of Iraqi's that would like to know. 8-)

On-Topic:

Back in the 50's, people didn't talk about dysfunctional families, but nowadays, it's considered 'commonplace' to live in one. With people having kids all the time, since they can get welfare, it's not suprising. My best friend growing up got pregnant at 16 (yeah, I know) and the guy that did it, has done nothing and will do nothing in support of his little girl. Now, Sandy, she's a WONDERFUL mother. She takes care of Chrys and I give her props for that, but the majority of people out there are too concerned for themselves, than their children. I was a chior and drama geek in high school, but I couldn't get my foster parents of their lazy @sses, just to go. In fact, my senior year, it was 'required' that the seniors sing a 'going away' type song, individually. My mother was too inebriated to go, let alone drive me, so my NEIGHBOR had to give me a ride to my final show. Imagine how I must have felt, singing out to no one.

This is a prime example of the garbage that exists in the human gene-pool.

Anyone can contribute to the birth of a child. It takes a REAL person to be a parent. :-(  :-(  :-(  :-(  :-(

@Methuselas

Odd thing is, you need a license to own a dog/cat, but any dip sh!t with half a brain and the ability to re-produce can have a kid, no questions asked.

yeah i hear that.
but then you'd be "breaching their human rights". what if we can get them qualified as sub human? get them sterilized... then you have the whole third riche debate comming up.

about a year ago, in london UK there was a massive poster campain on abused children, kids on the streets and stuff from various combined charities. all commendable stuff. but its like you say with the pet license's. how can we allow people that irrisponsable to be allowed to breed in the first place? but then we don't live in a "we" society. we live in an "i" society which is much more flexable with regard to peoples ambitions and asperations, but those that want to drop out of society, can and do. and unfortunatly cos they have nothing better to do, breed more drop outs.

where are the people acutally contributing to society don't breed cos they are too busy working to pay for those that have dropped out. ever diminishing returns unless something nuts happens. i just hope it happens in my lifetime and my shotgun license is valid.

also with the prices in england like they are and the media spewing the sh*t it is, its like you need to meet certain personal critiria like personal income, standard of living, mental health, area of living with regard to good schools etc. if you don't match up, you got no chance.

its like i would not want a daughter brought up in this country. with media and society telling them that to achieve anything you just need to be blonde and shag around. with shops selling thongs to under tens, its sickening really, hey if you have 6 kids by the time your sixteen, get a free house from the government.

even a son would be a problem with him not becomming a TV obsessed slob thinking that just cos he exists, then the whole world owes him something (see compensation culture).

damn i think too much.

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD
