SimpleMail 0.42 released for AOS3 and AOS4

As has been a Christmas tradition for several years now, Sebastian and the SimpleMail team have released a new version of one of the Amiga's most popular mailers. The New Edition of SimpleMail, version 0.42, was released this morning for Amigas running versions 3.x or 4.x of the operating system.



Version 0.42 comes with following changes:
  • Updated OpenSSL version to 1.0.1q
  • TLS support for SMTP servers (SMTPS, port 465)
  • STARTTLS support for IMAP4 servers
  • Ability to check account settings within the account configuration
  • Revised error window
  • Serveral MorphOS specific fixes (thanks to henes)
  • DEBUGMODULES command line options supports now '?' as value to print all modules that have logging output (AmigaOS 4.1 for now)
  • Various bug fixes and internal improvements to simplify next development steps

Only for OS4. OS3 still has to use amissl3.
Can't simplemail os3 be build with the v1.02a release from aminet ???
