Make the background move like in Shadow Of The Beast
I'm not trying to pick a fight here, I just want to point out how absurd that is. SOTB was written in hardware-banging assembly at the height of the Amiga's popularity. No one left here, or very few people, have the time, desire, or coding skill, to write such a game anymore. Sorry folks, that ship has sailed.
Now I don't know anything about the guy writing this other game (or his "reputation"), but he's pretty clearly stated that it's being written in AMOS. So to ask for them to "Oh, just make it like SOTB"... yeah, sure. Wishful thinking, and all that. Why don't you just say "Hey, go learn some long dead programming language for a computer hardly anyone codes for anymore, to make a game that - at best - you have the possibility of making a couple thousand bucks off of, while all the while being flamed in public forums... AAAHHH!
Anyhow, I backed it, because I'm at a point in my life when I make pretty decent money, and want to support continued Amiga software development. I pirated the sh** out of games 20-something years ago when I was a broke teenager. Now that I'm an adult I try to do the right thing, and support continued Amiga software development where I can. It's your choice what you want to do. Cheers!
