Is it possible that Hyperions old licence has runned out? I'm not saying it has, I'm just wondering since the deal is a decade old.

They said that Sin license is expired.

HAHAHAHAH!! I was LITERALLY verbalizing the exact same statement you just posted here without reading what you posted here....:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:I was thinking out loud to my head, "Oh! I have to spend 3k for an outdated hardware and spend 50 Euro for a game I can already get on a very POWERFUL gaming PC with a video card that kicks butt even to all modern consoles out there for just $6 USA.....hmmmmm

hmmmm....let me see......spend 3K for an outdated hardware+50 Euro for the game...or....OR.....spend just $6 for a hardware I already have that is superior to X1000 in all regards. Can I think this through first?:rofl:

You sound awfully familiar.

I know that the Robin Hood licence for MorphOS expired some years ago. From what I know licences are rarely issued indefinetely, and it seem that HE got their license over 10 years ago. It might be so that the license is still valid but it would be nice to know for sure (especially since the right holderd says it's not valid) so this doesn't turn into another guess based bashing.

Seems obvious to me but.... Something (anything) has been commercially made for an Amiga platform.  *if* there is a license issue, I hope it is smoothly worked out. *if* its higher priced than some want to spend I assume they will just not buy it.  As far as hardware goes... are we seriously still talking about our niche hobby computers not matching up to mainstream computing platforms in terms of price/power?  This is for fun!  If you love this hobby and can afford it you pay for it, then please do so we can keep encouraging development.  Otherwise there are tons of platform options, or we can even just keep playing with our classic machines.
Whereas everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, I just think we should be applauding any commercial or hobby development on any of our Amiga related platforms.

True.  The truth will come out in the end.  Hopefully in a positive way.

This guy has been in court over copyright before.

His claims might well backfire on him quite badly if he can't prove that Metropolis signed over all rights for Gorky17 to Topware.

Correct. Apa said 'a new game'... Harmless play on English from me.
I'm on this forum apa, because it's so inactive that even I can keep up with new posts and generally not miss a thing.

Anything "new" on the market is positive yeah? But all the noise is always about cost and rights. Bloom and grow vs shrivel and die, for me. Though running other OSs on Amiga hardware is where I diverge.

The thrust of takeoff must be full of product.

It would be cool to see some high-res screenshots of this game...perhaps side by side compared to pc version 640x480 just to highlight the enhancement of the game.

Excuse me while I get out my magnifying glass to see those screenshots.  :angryfire:

Sorry, not directed at you personally, just I hate when people use tiny images to try to show something off.  ;)
