Here is a shot into the esoteric nether regions of Amiga space.
There used to be a script or separate executable for Amiga (I thought I originally found it on Aminet back in the late 90's) And now that I think of it, it may not have been a script or program specially for the PAR (personal animation recorder) maybe it worked with ADpro or ImageFX.... geez, I just don't remember...
ANYWAY... what it did.
I had a directory full of IFFs, images, that I had scanned from my traditional animation pencil tests. I animated these scenes in the traditional film sense meaning I animated them based on the timing of 24 frames per second. I would load these image files into my PAR and enjoy full speed play back. Only problem was the PAR played back at NTSC video standard of 30fps. This script would take an entire directory or maybe you selected an animation on the PAR and it would pull apart the seperate fields (2 fields per frame) and do some reconfiguring of the frames so that whilst it played at 30fps it maintained the original timing intended at 24fps.... mostly.
I can't find that really unique and awesome program/script anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks,
Dan
