A1200T RTG screen mode randomly swithcing on it's own???
« on: September 03, 2015, 02:45:27 AM »
My 1200T has been running smoothly for many months after going through hell & back getting P96 working nicely with my Mediator 1200 LT4 and Radeon 9250 256MB (& latest P96 with OS3.9, BB 1 &2) BUT just yesterday I noticed the screen mode automatically switching on me after system was inactive for a few hours?
i.e not used for a few hours then I start opening up a few folders and all of a sudden screen mode increases where I can only see 1/4 of screen??

didn't think anythign of it yesterday so just rebooted and it was working fine again but today same thing happened so wondering if any of you guys have seen this before as I haven't changed anything hardware wise and haven't added any new software either?

Heat?  Or do you have anything that would kick in after a few hours, such as a screensaver?  (just grasping for straws here, but thinking that a misconfigured screensaver might be somehow mucking up the screen settings trying to activate its screen?)

@ Oldsmobile_Mike

I doubt it's heat related as my tower is in my basement and my Apollo 060@50 runs quite cool without a fan.  Also currently don't have a screen saver setup

@ mechy

hmm even though i really only have been messing around with demos lately I think snoopy should tell me what's going on behind the scenes

Could it be a Recoverable Alert? You know, the yellow one...but not revoverable? I don't suppose you'll know unless you can see the 15KHz video like Mech said.
