Just out of curiousity, prior to this event, was there any kind of Amiga display or mention at the Computer History Museum?

I wonder if there will be after.

Here are my show photos....

http://www.thevideojunkie.com/Amiga30/show/

Sorry, but I ran out of time for caption writing before my road trip tomorrow, but I will try to add some captions with IDs of the people and machines that I know when i get back from my trip. I don't know every name, so if I miss any we can always add those later. Enjoy!

Still in a great mood from this event..... love all these people and all these machines and all this software and everything. :) Makes me wish real hard there was a way for me and many others to make our livings in the Amiga realm.... but that's for some parallel universe where the train did not come off the tracks.

I see Cammy in the back of the room in full costume in there somewhere. Glad she could make it.

Not quite the full costume, I'm afraid... I absent-mindedly left the gauntlets and badge behind but I'm flattered you noticed me in there. :P

I had so much fun at the event, even though it was a little difficult to communicate, and I'm so glad I met lots of you guys from the forums, IRC and Facebook!

Not difficult to notice you when most people just wear something casual like a pair of jeans and a T-shirt.

At what point did you realise you left the gauntlets and badge, on the way to the airport, halfway through the flight or when you unpacked?

Glad you had a good time over there.

If you are part of Facebook, you can go to Kiki Stockhammer's page where she has some Amiga 30th photos with R.J. Mical, Tim Jenison, Jeri Ellsworth, Joe Torre, and others.

I doubt you noticed, but my son (5 years old, spent most of Sunday dancing in front of the Mandala camera) was TOTALLY IN AWE OF YOU. He kept sneaking looks at you, and then whispering to me and Mom "look... she's a super hero!"

I suggested a couple times that he go up and say hi to you, but he was too shy. Oh well - maybe at the 40th Anniversary bash! :-)

Yeah, I think I failed during our first encounter, doing what most inexperienced people do over-enunciating and what-not.  Our later encounters went much better.  I'm glad that I finally got to meet you.

I nearly forgot: Can someone ask around and see if the _original_ Boing demo can be found? The one RJ talked about.

Wow, I had no idea you came all that way, much like myself. Nice to see that there were other Australians representing at Amiga 30th.
