Well, finally, here I am.

I'm the creator of that MPEG player for the CD32 FMV module. It took seven years to get my account here validated. That must be some kind of record. 

Anyone still here?

It's been many years, but yes, I remember doing this demo for you. 😊

Writing this player was not easy. Commodore did not release much documentation for the FMV-module, so I had to get in touch with the software guy at Commodore working on it.

I'll try to find the source code for it and upload it on Aminet.

Does someone has contact with Daniel Nyberg, he seems to have been a member of Meka Design back in the days and is the author of this software ?

As there was no answer from the original author since a while now, i've decided to make this player myself. It's based on CDMPEG and the sources are in the DEVELOPPER CD 2.1.

CDMPEG was only able to read VCD tracks, but now it can play mpeg files from HDD with FMV hardware decoding.

You can pause, forward & reward and quit with the cd32 pad
