Without RTG?
What can you do with that?

I think you have some form of RTG with the Indivision ECS?

Dunno if it's of any use in this case since it's really slow and have very limited memory.

Man, I thought this was going to be about one of those KCS "Power PC" 8088 boards you could get for the 2000 and 500 back in the day.  Nicely done!

I wish those cards weren't as scarce as hen's teeth (and priced accordingly), though...Pick up a nice clean 500 for a song, an ACA, plus a BPPC...it'd be neat to have to play with!

As someone else mentioned, I think the better bet would be to go with an A2000 solution (I think there's an "ACA-2000" coming?  Yes/no?) and go that route.  Mmm...PPC A2000 (yes I know there's a one-off using a prototype blizzard card out there).
Back away from the EU-SSR!

Indivision ECS provides modes like 800x600x16 colors, 1024x768x4 colors, HD720 x 4 colors, etc. I've used them all before on mine. With enough processor oomph the 800x600 mode can be pretty nice, but is hampered by ECS bus bandwidth. I've heard there's "RTG" drivers for the Indi, but from what I understand they're slower than things like SuperPlus.

Also - get a case for that darned ACA500!  Can you imagine zapping that rare PPC board with static electricity from walking across your carpet and then brushing against it?  The "Crystal" case is okay, but still a bad design not making it internal, IMHO.

Wasn't there some one who made a Picasso96 driver for the Indivision ECS?

Nice work!

I wonder if a CyberstormPPC>Micronikz3>ACA500>A500 would work.... :D

Very cool!

Has anyone tested a 80Mhz Apollo 060 yet?
