I was gonna buy it too. Maybe he didn't get enough pre-orders? It's such a shame.

Annoying because his second revision removed all discussion about the Amiga and turned into some sort of 8bit exclusive which will make the first edition even more difficult to find.

With summer approaching I was really hoping to have this one in my Kindle to read on the beach.

I am sad to hear this news.

The reason I did not preorder the book was simply because I did not trust that the book would ever get released.  And indeed my mistrust was well-placed as it has now in fact officially been cancelled.

I am sure there were lots of other ppl like me.

If he changes his mind and decides to release the book before I die then I will happily buy it.

Sad news, first I had read about this but I liked the Commodore book and would have loved to read one specifically Amiga based.
Would be cool to read/see interviews from the Amiga team...

Hello All,

That's just great like everything in Amiga land everything is vaporware!
I was really looking forward to read that book! Guess, it's just another
tragic Amiga loss we all are to aware of by now!

Thanks in advance,
Merv Stent

Yes, it's very good!  Not as indepth as Bagnall's first book though.
