Nonkey Muts

Where is a good place to get those old school screws used in the Amigas and not these new ones made from zinc coated Play Doh that strip when you touch them ?

What is the hardware difference between the 3000d with super kickstart vs roms ? Is it just those 2 roms replaced with some sort of different rom(s) How do I tell between the 2 ?

Google tells me the difference is that they can soft boot different KS versions from the HDD if I get all this, and that the version can be switched "updated" am I getting the gist of this.

If that is correct, I gather this may interfere with workbench booting from the HDD unless that was changed to match the KS version.

Also why do the cases have those hexagonal standoffs by the CPU slot under the drive tray ? Do those hold accelerators, or future unreleased expansions (or am I missing some stock hardware ?)
I gots me a Video Toaster...where do I put the bread in ?!?!

Funny, my old screws are the easy ones to strip and the new ones (M4's for cases, M3's for motherboards -- Ace Hardware) are resistant.  Those hex stand offs are for accelerator cards in the A3000, replaced with plastic in A4000D/T's.
