Any soldering guru's in New Zealand?
« on: June 05, 2013, 09:50:37 AM »
Looking for someone local to do some soldering for me, Auckland anywhere would be great. But don't mind posting if needed.

Would prefer local, will pay for the service or may have some Amiga/PC hardware to swap :-)

What do you need soldered?
Chances are a self proclaimed expert won't really know what they're doing anyway :p

Need an angled PCMCIA adapter fixed and a SIMM socket soldered ;-)

My soldering skills suck, have tried but not my thing. The occasional wire no problem, but don't have the gear for any fine work.

Nathan was a good contact, he's Aussie side but yeah wont go into that. So my main source of repairs has been Amigakit :-)

They do an awesome job just the downtime getting stuff shipped back and forth can be hard. Most likely will send to them as I trust the work the do :-)

You have Anthony Hoffman in NZ if you can wait untill he gets back from antarctica.
He saved my 3000T motherboard.
