Hi Djos,

Sorry mate but work's building is having planned power outage this evening. I have to stay back well after 6pm to make sure the IT infrastructure is ok. :-(

So, unfortunately I won't be able to come this evening. :-( Sorry!

Catcha,
Epsilon

Hi All, turns out there's a much older C= & Amiga group in Adelaide with a regular GTG etc - I propose we merge our newer group into it and support it instead of duplicating our efforts etc. here's a message from them:

Quote from: pkretro
Greetings
I would like to invite commodore users to our little friendly amiga user group
It is located in Adelaide , South Australia .
We meet every monday at 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm .
The address is
Clarence Park Community Centre
72-74 East Avenue
Black Forest
SA 5035
Down the side of the building is a drive way with parking out the back .
Depending on which way you are driving you may have to do a U turn
on the main road to get to the driveway .
Depending on work commitments I try to attend every monday .
My email address is
philip.kocent@bigpond.com
Hope to see Adelaide Commodore users there.
Most times Andrew Wilson designer of the pheonix board attends .
Regards
Phil

Nice work Derek. Unfortunately I can’t attend tonight as my wife is out but let me know when you go next time and I’ll come along.

It was great to meet the C= Amiga user group guys and discover they are in fact the original Adelaide Amiga User Group - TonyC and myself were able to attend and enjoyed ourselves. I think combining our groups will basically double the size of the Adelaide C= Amiga community. :)

It was also pretty awesome meeting Andrew and seeing his legendary Phoenix a1000 replacement motherboard too (I'd never seen one in the flesh before).

Cheers Derek

Had another great catchup with the original Amiga User group last night and had a couple more lads attend that hadn't been before - my plan is to attend monthly but if possible I might try fortnightly family duties allowing.

Well we had fun on Monday night, I brought my original c64 breadbin and Tony brought his c64g for the newer demos - I also brought a little amp and my Krix Bookshelf speakers along so we could hear the SID's sing!  8)

here's a few fairly terrible phone pics:
