Yeah, a blue screen of death on a CFIDE68K

I was installing 3.1 in my A500 with a kipper2 memory expansion on a Compact Flash Microdrive and everything was going along quite happily when the computer asked for the Locale disk.

I popped out the disk that was in there and reached for the Locale disk and when I looked back at the screen it was WB 1.3 blue with no icons or nothing!

I rebooted and now the CFIDE68K is not recognized.  Reseated, no joy.

Mobo is a rev 6a.

Any suggestions?

So, I gather no one has seen this before!

As an update, I tried formatting and installing the OS on a CF Microdrive on another machine still no joy.

Guess I'll contact mkl on amibay and see about getting another unit.  Maybe I can send this one back and have him look at it.
