What part?  I spent my childhood in Indialantic and graduated from FIT.  Funny thing is, the last year at FIT, I lived in a house about a block away (East Lincoln Ave) from this museum.

So, in my lunacy I have just removed the said missing key and spring from one of my spare (and broken) 64c keyboards, written a polite note and popped them in a jiffy bag. I shall post it in the morning all the way across the pond and that machine shall be complete once again.

I must be mad ;)

They need to have it powered up and put on a proper desk. Looks so confined on that little table.

So easy to knock over too I would assume :-(

Got this email today :) :

Dear Mr. Taylor,

Thank you so much for sending us the key for our Commodore 64. We received it in the mail yesterday. We are a nonprofit organization with a museum who is always looking for ways to make this place better. We recently renovated the museum, so this goes perfectly. It was a pleasant surprise, and truly appreciated.

Thanks again,

So for those of us outside the US, does that mean the liberty bell is there?

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

There is indeed a Liberty Bell there. It is a copy, made by the company in England who build the original Liberty Bell. Without the crack on the side though.

I am out of the state right now but I will check and see if they fixed it when I get back.
