So it's just an argument for that command?
I'm not really that familiar with amigados.

Yes, ADD is one of the arguments for the Path command.
The Assign command under Workbench1.3 does not accept the argument ADD... this additional feature of Workbench/AmigaDOS appeared in Workbench2 onwards.
