I have a set and they broke the first week I owned them.  To be fair on that though, that was a few years ago and quality may have gotten better.  If it hasn't, I wouldn't recommend them personally.

I like the heads up on potential good products, but man - this reeks of kickbacks and marketing spam, sorry - and the "don't read if you aren't interested" thing is a bit of a face slap.  Shill products or solicit donations, but not both - whatever pays the bills I suppose.

I agree it's kind of an odd post. But I will say SkullCandy are not as good as some people claim. I have tried several sets, from the cheap earbuds to the more expensive "pro" models, and none have really given what I would consider exceptional audio quality. They always seemed like novelty items compared to often cheaper and far better sennheiser headphones. You often see the wannabe tredy kids wearing them attached to the latest "i" device.

I got some SkullCandy headphones thrust upon me by o2 when I got my new phone. I have used them once and they have gone back into the box and in a draw never to be seen again.
