Commodore SX-64 (Yes, I know!)
« on: October 29, 2012, 02:21:30 AM »
I know it's NOT an Amiga, but it's still Commodore AND the prototype portable A500 was built in a modified SX-64 case, so what the heck.

Wow, good price on that.

But I'm more interested in learning about this prototype portable A500! Never heard those details before.

Not a bad price.

@mechy: Amarillo, eh?  I haven't been there since 2006.  Still growing?  (Thread hijack in progress... hehehe)

Well, it's already taken!

Don't think it made it half an hour before someone snatched up the BIN pricing.

Makes me wonder if I should've gone a tad higher.  Oh well, such is life.

My favorite 8-bit Commodore machine, and yeah, the keyboards alone are probably worth $40-$50 apiece.
3 Commodore file cabinets, 2 Commodore USB turntables, 1 AmigaWorld beer mug
Alienware M14x i7 laptop running AmigaForever

You would've had to looked quickly!  From list to sold was less than 30 minutes!

Amiga engineer Dale Luck brought his SX-500 a couple of times to the Vintage Computer Festival in California.  A photo of it is at
