Does anyone actually know the sinister* origins of "April Fool's Day"?
*propoganda not murder
Yes, it all goes back to the Dark Ages in old England when the court jesters (or "fools") as they were known would be given a special holiday in April. As the jesters were no longer available to entertain the masses (they all went to Torquay and spent the day on the beach swapping jokes and getting new ideas for their shows), the people had to make up their own "pranks" and "jokes".
