I actually find this apology amusing! :roflmao:

Dave, do you always apologise after a debate?   :roflmao:

I also plan to express my opinions less this year and concentrate more on learning how to program on and for AmigaOS1.x to 3.x, OS4.x, MorphOS3.x and AROS, so you will probably see much less of me on the forums.  My plan is to limit my posts to help on any questions asked, and (for the most part) return to my lurking habits that I practiced here for several years, before I became more active posting on this forum site.:

Well, it would be nice to see the dev forum area being a bit more active again. I'm sure my first few posts on the site were there somewhere.

Dave, you are a voice of reason, and a peacemaker. Thicken your skin
and keep posting. The asylum wing of A.org will continue ranting regardless, less communication from 'the staff' won't inhibit the crazies and troublemakers.

Have you waxed the snow shovel yet? :)

Having thicker skin has nothing to do with my decision to use my time in other ways.(Edit: I have never been part of "the staff")

I will still post from time to time, but have decided to post less often where I express my opinions, and concentrate more on just answering questions, or helping in another way.

It won't hurt this place to have one less member posting opinions, or trying to encourage others to do anything.  My attempts were not effective anyway.

As for the waxing of snow shovels, my back condition keeps me far away from such tools.

@Karlos,

That is hopefully where I will do most of my posting this year.

@Kickstart,

I am relaxed, and well medicated as usual.  I never thought of myself as a ceo, or chairman.  My view of myself was more of a cheerleader, but now I want to stop cheering (mostly) and get on to the playing field and try my hand (and mind) at learning to program.

Finally, my apology was only aimed at those members who, I thought, had an incorrect impression of who I am and what my intentions are here.  I have no hidden agenda.
