Alright, next guess...

The long lost next incarnation of Amithlon will finally be released and will be compatible with Touch Screen Devices!

Whatever it is I hope it ships in 90 days or less, this whole announce something and then delay after delay is getting really old.  It's an Amiga tradition best abandoned while there is at least some community left.

I agree, but at least ACube has proven to be pretty reliable unlike every other company associated with the whole OS4 debacle. I expect to see whatever it is available on the 19th and not just an announcement of something.

Or maybe a Boing ball signed by Hunter S. Thompson? ;)

I hope it will be a new product sold at a fair price.

It is a weird coincidence as I have been seriously considering buying myself a SAM460 this month but now I have to wait september 19th before deciding anything just in case this "secret" would be a new Amiga compatible system with specs/price I would prefer.

Acube! You teases, tell me what it is! :)

What if it's a port of MorphOS to the SAM series of boards?

The BAF's would be in uproar! ;)

So in this case they have actually hurt sales with this tactic.

@Heiroglyph:  Lol probably not but purchase is suspended for now until I know...  Plus I can't really figure why I have started to be so interested in the SAM460.....a couple of weeks ago I was still convinced it was overpriced and useless for my use.

Since I saw that movie on youtube showing the 460 in action,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3JbzW3l-NE

it kinda raised my interest by a notch :)

I wonder why more Amiga advertisement isn't done this way?

I'm pretty jaded and as simple (and slow) as that video was, I have to say that I'm more interested after seeing it than I was before.

I'm not ready to drop a grand on one, but it is a bit more appealing.

Meh. Mac and MorphOS still looks like the better option. Crazy high prices, sheesh!

Wow! A SAM 460 in a box with an "official" Amiga logo and mouse. That's worth twice what the parts would cost individually! I imagine the lines are forming now as this runs an AmigaOS unlike the best efforts of Amiga Inc. It probably took much longer than sticking an official Amiga sticker on it too ;).

$1,199.58 U.S. Dollars plus $54.65 for a video card (optional) and you add your own keyboard and mouse.

Considering what the X1000 is going to cost when it is released, I guess there will be several AmigaOS4.x users that will like this "lower cost" option.

If there were no other alternatives, I might consider spending that kind of money to run the latest AmigaOS4.x, but with MorphOS2.x and AROS and UAE being in the current state that they are in, I can't justify spending that much money just for the chance to run OS4.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

That case is ugly as sin.
