Thanks for the welcome guys

There seems to be quite a number of upside down land Amiga users here, do you have some wee store that's still selling them cheap or have they just arrived down under for the first time recently...
With all the sunshine you get, doing the old Retr0Bright treatment should be a breeze, I can highly recommend it myself as it really does work and the difference it makes to an old yellowed Amiga is amazing...
Well I got them off ebay for $50

Middle aged lady up the coast was selling them, local pickup only, I was only bidder... she had no idea what they were (originally listed them as commodore 64), said they belonged to her dad who passed away. Guess he won't be needing them any more

I've actually used retrobright before, on some of my old PC's. The weather lately hasn't been great for it so I haven't attacked the amigas with it yet.
I did have the keys and cases off them for a cleanout last week, and I left them soaking in a strong solution of oxy-based detergent for a few days which seems to have taken the edge of the yellowing off.
PS: I thought it was only the yanks who misspelled Doughnuts...
The proper Australian spelling is doughnut. A lot of Australian's don't seem to know that though.

Get out now before it turns you mad.
I've seen it happen.
Bit late for that lol
I've got more old PC's and game consoles than I can poke a stick at... this is just broadening my horizons a bit

I'd love an arcade cabinet but I got nowhere to put it.
Give us a yell any time you need a hand with anything, it shouldn't be a problem to drop by again, and I'd try not to be so late next time.
Yeah thanks heaps for your help, it was invaluable

I'd be lost without you guys.
Don't worry about being late either

As long as you don't get me out of bed its all good
