Based on a few other posts & auctions I've seen lately, people really seem to want that Amiga-Unix stuff lately!

Only problem is that the system is a problem waiting to happen.

Never buy a 3000 with old batteries and not maintained.  I can share too many stories about failure rates.

Someone sent me a small envelope with 2 PCBs from Australia to the USA and it cost them over $20.00, that was 5 years ago. I was thinking the post in that auction was pretty reasonable myself.

The "scamdoubler" ?
« Reply #626 on: November 11, 2014, 03:09:17 AM »
Sorry if this has already been posted already but $1000 for this is absolutely nuts. Is this NOT a GBS8200 in a fancy case?

It is but bumping a product up to an insane price is a standard trick used by sellers to avoid re-listing fees when they run out of stock, when they get stock they put the price back down.

Even though this item is being sold by a UK seller, from the UK, ebay(US) is telling me the seller does not post to the UK! :). so I could not buy it even if I wanted it :).

I guess this one;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KONIX-SPEEDKING-1986-joystick-VINTAGE-antiguo-mando-atari-amiga-comodore-de-/221293564078?pt=ES_Videojuegos&hash=item33861fd0ae

It's not so much the price, but the "Wtf did he do to it?" that makes it crazy!

I've been looking for a good two button joystick.  Either that or a compatible CD32 one (I've seen actual cd32 gamepads, but have heard they suck).  I ran into this monstrosity.
