@Effy: I have my A4000PPC running Linux Mandrake8.2 (APUS Kernel 2.4) with X-Surf, CyberstormPPC and Repulse Soundcard. Everything works fine. The APUS Kernel also supports Cybervision(64+3D), Piccolo and PicassoII+IV. But I didn't do the install all by myself but ordered a pre-installed version from Michael Heider:
