Have you set a unique ID for each drive and terminated only the last drive on the scsi-chain?

Yep all drives has different ID´s... if I connect them to a A590 controller it has no problem with seeing the drives only on the GVP controller...

And is the termination correct? Some controllers works disregarding how you terminate, but some controllers are very kinky with the termination.

(edit):

I have a IVS Grandslam controller which doesnt seem to care how I terminate or if I terminate at all, it works disregarding.

Ok, then it shouldnt be a problem of electrical nature.

If it is the Commodore HDToolBox you are using, you could check the tooltype settings. It has some tooltypes setting how many drive-ids it should scan etc. Is there a HDToolBox alike program supplied with the GVP btw?

No Clue has this version from my A600HD... But it´s the same version I use on the A590 and there is no problems there... I can even boot on the 2048mb IBM HD with the GVP but if I connect another drive it can see the other drive...

Try the HDToolBox equivalence on the disk supplied with the HD8+. If you dont have the disk, download it from the link below:

Now I am assuming that you are on a pc, wanting to transfer files to the amiga.

If you have Workbench 2.1 and above you will have the ability to read pc-disks right out of the box. Just mount PC0: which per default is located in the Storage/Dosdrivers/ directory. One thing to remember though is that you will probably have to use a DD-disk (720KB) as most amigas doesnt have HD-diskdrives.

If you dont have Workbench 2.1 or above you can use MSH to read ms-dos disks, though this presents a moment 22 case as you cant transfer this program to the Amiga via disk from the pc without being able to read ms-dos disks.

If this is the case, you could transfer files via a nullmodemcable if you have any sort of terminal software on the Amiga.

When you have the file on your amiga, you can use DMS to unpack it onto a disk.
