I use most, in descending order:

3.x on 68k hardware
3.x on UAE and Amithlon
AROS on UAE
AROS on 68k hardware
AROS on x86 virtual machines
MorphOS on Macs
AROS on ARM Linux hosted

One of the many things on my todo list is to try an AROS 68k Kickstart ROM containing the bare minimum required to boot, combined with an x86-Big-Endian compiled AROS userland.

Then once I've got it working, try and convince Bernd Meyer he has a product to sell! :)

No guarantees on the "inevitable" bit, but I think I might give it a try once it's more complete.

Another vote for real.. erm I mean classic Amiga. Workbench 3.1 with a couple of patches rules them all :P

MorphOS is second on my list.

You got it right the first time... ;)

I'd never in 25 years heard the term "Classic" being applied to the Amiga until Hyperion released OS4.0 for "Classic" Amigas... :)

Now that's all these forums and sites refer to the Amiga as is "Classic" they should really be just called Amigas not "real" or "classic"... :)

Just saying like... ;)

I think it's most likely been borrowed from Apple terminology as "Classic" is the term they have traditionally applied to the previous generation of Apple Macs each time they have changed CPU architecture or OS. (68k System 8 -> PPC System 8/9 -> PPC OSX etc)

Right. Everybody knows that the real classic Amigas are OCS only! AGA was more like a parody of the real Amiga.

Oh, never mind. I am just trolling. Don´t take the bait. But I guess we have to admit that definitions can change.

@ Ismart

I couldn't help but take the bait... ;)

AGA is the best thing since... well since OCS... :)

(Don't even own any OCS only machines anymore, A1200s all the way... :D)
