Thanks for the heads up Franko!

I sent a PM to see if shipping to the US was possible.

@ SpiHunter

Maybe this would be a better option for you PSU $30 including delivery...

http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=56261

Just took delivery of one of the A1200s I bought on ebay a few days ago, boy was it manky but it's fully working and had an 80MB HD, 4MB Fast Ram expansion & an EyeTech 4 Way buffered IDE interface which the seller didn't mention, first bargain I've got on ebay only £56... :)

Hopefully I should receive the other two in the next couple of days and once I've checked them out I'll send you a PSU if you still need one, but the postage may be quite expensive shipping all the way from Scotland, that's why I thought the above link may be a better option for you... :)

(finally found a use for an old MC68882 chip I had lying around it fits on the ram board... :))

I actually have a UK 1200 power supply lying around too. Thing is.. I can't test it, so I have no idea if it works or not. But if you need another option, its yours for whatever shipping the damn thing would cost. Might be a little cheaper than from the UK.

You can also get more powerful ones from amigakit, in US configuration.

Well, the shipping from AUS to the US is going to be $40 so I'm not going to buy the one from the other thread. Amikit has a 300W one that is meant for a tower conversion that I could use. It wouldn't look very nice sitting on the desk but it would work?.

Thats what I use for my 1200. It works great, though its ugly as sin :)

If you are seriously expanding it, it'll certainly give you enough juice.

Or you could use a Pico PSU... With the right cable from Amigakit it could go:

Wall --> Pico PSU --> AmigaKit ATX to A1200 power cable --> A1200

Should be no soldering or hacking, lots a power. Howerver, this could look almost 4x uglier than the option above...

G1200, A3000D, A1200 PPC AOS4.0C

I\'m on Google +

OK, I finally said "screw it" and ordered the 300W one from Amikit. At least I won't have to worry about maxing out the power on it even if it is ugly!

I've been really happy with mine. Its a tad noisy but nothing too bad. Mostly in comparison to how quiet the 1200 is, with a CF hard drive :)
