SX32Pro - how much RAM can they take?

Hi

Just wondering how much RAM an SX32Pro can take? I know it has 2 64pin GVP SIMM sockets but the Big Book states a max of 4MB per slot (and a jumper to set whether 1MB or 4MB SIMMS are installed).

Then I read posts of people with 128MB in an SX32Pro...can anyone confirm what these things will take as my one as a single 4MB SIMM and I'd like to upgrade it if possible.

GVP SIMMs? You must be thinking of some other board. SX32Pro has a single standard 72pin SIMM socket.

Bah...you're right. My mistake..was fiddling with an SX32Pro and A530Turbo this afternoon and got the two mixed up.

Yes, I should be asking about the RAM an A530Turbo can take and it would help if I looked up that this afternoon instead of the SX32Pro..would have saved me some confusion.

Looks like 2x4MB GVP SIMMs is the best I can get unless someone knows otherwise. It's got 1x 4MB SIMM in her so I'm thinking 1 more 4MB will max her out. Shame..would have been nice to get 16MB or even 32MB...oh well.

It is important cus I really don`t remember where I stored the SX32. The Turbo would be easier..... He says... mmmm

Should have said that I have all the paperwork for both also, you see, though finding stuff in the Amiga Repository can be a tricky here these days. More like treasure hunting of late. Fun though.

I have one and it maxes out at 64 Meg Fast Ram

Ah, yes, the GVP 530 can take 8MB maximum.
