ADoom and Doomattack problems
« on: September 04, 2010, 11:41:19 AM »
Hi.
I'm trying to run both of these Doom ports on my A1230@50 MHz.
I have downloaded some Doom wads (shareware, Doom1, Doom2). Before someone asks, i owned a Doom compilation for PC in the past, but can't find this CD in my junk at the moment.
Problem is both ADoom and DoomAttack do not recognize these wads with w_init error messages.
I am puzzled because DOOM2.WAD has run with ADoom the first time i installed it (i have even saved the game at some point).
So, where could i fine a working wad for these ports? How comes DOOM2.wad has worked once and not anymore?
Thanks for your help.

Download this archive and extract it, it will make a directory for each of the supported DOOM games (DOOM, DOOM 2 and Ultimate DOOM). From there you just drop in the appropriate .WAD file into the directory it goes with and run the executable from the icon.

Thanks Cammy :) My WADs work fine with your files.
So my problems come from the setup, maybe the stack story.

DoomAttack is lightning fast by the way. A shame we did not have that back in 1994.

utri007, shall i send you my Paypal adress for the 0,1$? :D
