Hey Everyone,
Since my father passed away, it seems like every electronic device in the house has been having trouble.
OK, I've spent a lot of time, and mainly money on my A1200T. A few months ago, I started having some trouble with the output of my DCTV. Pics load/save, and display fine, but in DCTV Paint, the area with the palette is all mottled grey. (Kinda like a ghosted button) I tested this DCTV on another miggy, grrr, it's fine......
Then today, playing .MODs, one of my old favorites Aevias (by DeathJester) some of the voices sound 'weird'... One sound is way too high a pitch....
So far, these are the only issues... I've tried numerous other graphic/sound programs, so far everything is OK... but anyone have ideas? Bad caps? CIA's? Global warming?
Anyway, I've gotten used to dealing with the 'worst case scenario'. If my A1200T is not long for this earth, how hard/expensive is it to get an NTSC A1200 motherboard?
Sooo, I haven't made any HW changes on my sys. for at least 2 years (hard to believe

) Nothing that I can think of as for software either....
I have a sick feeling... sigh...
here's some specs of my miggy:
A1200 Power Tower, P5 1260, DCE 12xx SCSI, 256 MB fast, OS 3.9 w/BB1 + 2, Drives: 8.5GB IDE (SYS: ,etc.) 3GB SCSI, 100MB Zip, A1010 ext. floppy..beyond that, just the usual printer, scanner, modem....
Software: Lots of Hacks  MCP, Magic Menu, ReqAttack, PowerSnap, FBlit, ToolsDaemon, Virus Checker 2.5 ... Although, I have been running all of these for many years on this sys., and all except FBlit on another A1200 for even longer....
Please, someone give me some (even sorta) good news.....
'Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope....'
