You obviously missed the point. I said I don't have TIME to mess with it!

That's very admirable but you are only being good to the people local to you :P

Not true. If you are in NY and want to fly here, rent a UHaul, pick it up and drive it home... feel free. :P

Give the guy a break, he's giving away a lot of stuff there. I wish I were able to collect it, but being on the wrong side of the Atlantic (never mind the continent) pretty much rules it out.

There is someone ahead of you who I have dealt with previously. I know he is putting some of my gear to good use so he gets first shot.

If for some reason he cannot you're next in line.

OK, so.. it looks like you didn't read my posts. I'm already arranging pickup with him, I've already sent him a PM and I'm awaiting response.

I did read your posts, they said coordinating with a friend. And PM sent, no real confirmation though.

No hard feelings

How about letting someone else, who the has time, collect it all and then redistribute whatever they don't keep for themselves, charging only for the P&P of any items shipped?

I am fine with that, as long as I don't have to mess with it.

As an avid viewer of LOST you will forgive me for not getting on a plane from the UK :)

Don't get me wrong, I've had some real jerks to deal with on ebay too in the past after lugging an A2000 to the post office for actual cost price!

Good idea, a bit of beer money for the effort is also acceptable :)

(even though being in the UK it pretty much counts me out anyway...who wouldn't want to keep an A1000 anyway lol a thing of beauty even if it doesn't power on)
