Hi,

@N3vpd,

If you look in your System DEVS drawer you will see a device called PCO in it, this enables you to format a disc in the most popular format msdos, meaning that you can format a disk, put items on it from the Amiga and transfer it to a PC computer (not a MAC a lesser known computer) this also enable you to transfer files from a PC to a Amiga.

So you now have two ways to format a disk on your Amiga.

DF0 - regular Amiga ready disk
PC0 - a dos disk for PC computers

Also PCO acts just like an Amiga disk just click on it one time, format it, and then drop your files in it just like you do with an Amiga disk, then take the PCO disk and you can put it in any PC type computer.

The reason Amiga done this was they wanted to make the Amiga more compatible with the worlds favorite computer the PC.

I have no idea what your talking about, so here is a doggy with a small pancake on his head.

MorphOS is a MAC done a little better

The PC0 is loaded from the DEVS/drivers folder. It's basically harmless as it allows you to format a floppy disk to PC 720kb standard for a somewhat easier way of file transferring between the two machines.

If you wish to stop the PC0 icon from appearing, either delete the PC0 file in DEVS/drivers or move the file out of the folder to somewhere else, say the Storage folder.

I'm sure I won't lose any sleep over your disappointment :laughing:

Just to keep some people happy ... replace the word 'folder' with the word 'directory'  in my previous post to this thread lol

The drawer is Devs/DOSDrivers. Typically you'd move the PC0 from there to Storage/DOSDrivers.
