Well, praying is just about as effective as petitioning...

I also didn`t pray as I don't believe in God as people advertise it, but I do believe in the power of Amiga. I have always been somebody who refuses to follow the mainstream. Microsoft has always seemed pretty stupid compared to Amiga OS, and now that I have pretty enough experience in installing XP Pro and 98 SE I seem to get more and more convinced how superior AmigaOS is, even if it is a bit slow. And yes, I have also dreamed that Microsoft would be beaten,  no matter how. Everytime I read about a massive hack attack on Microsoft server I have to laugh. I remember that I did pray that the C64 would survive, and so far it still has .... I don`t know what the future will bring us, I only know that I will keep on being emotionally attached to the Amiga and C64 and I will keep on seeing the pc as a stupid primitive being that has only one advantage, speed ... but that's the only thing, nothing more ...

I don't pray, not into relegion at all, too many wars caused by it :-( but I do wish...

I wish everyone would just shut up moaning & buy an Amiga, they'll be fine, it's not an alien.

I don't know what I believe any more, but I've never prayed for the Amiga. I've been a zealot in the past but that's about it.

Hoya!

Why? Billsey has left?
Too bad! KennyR and myself had lots of fun trying to explain to him that nothing REALLY proved the existence of any god out there... Except for our beloved Amiga of course! ;-D

@Im>bE:

I know it's popular to blame Microsoft for the demise of the Amiga, but at the time CBM imploded, MS didn't have anything that could compare to even a lowly A500.  I know, because we had computers running Windows 3.11 at university at the time it all went down, and I remember thinking, "man, I don't want to have to use these things, they totally suck!".  If CBM had lasted longer, I have no doubts there would've been some epic showdown, but as it is, CBM killed the Amiga - mostly by bad advertising.  90% of people I talked to didn't want amigas because they were "games machines" and they wanted a "serious computer".  There's only one place they could've gotten that idea: CBM's marketing department.  Then there was the corporate monkey business, which eventually sunk the entire company.

@ Effy

Hi, just noticed your sig. boostes are bad, they are amplifiers with extra components to knock speaker level down to transistor input level.
Get a head unit with RCA or DIN outs only, save money & plain amplifiers, no extra components, save money. all this wil insure that you don't amplify the distortion comming from the head unit amp.

Chris

PS: I thought it was Bilsey too. But please, do we need to bash him. He's an OK guy!
