Blimey, new 'amiga' (yes, I realise that the term is subjective) hardware with a peripheral bus that's using present-decade technology? That is interesting.

My PC has 2 16x slots and uses an intel X48 chipset to provide them.

For one of those with the word Amiga on it, its probably worth loosing a sunday ;)

Is that a Xilinx FPGA near the slots? Probably glue logic, but perhaps it's for something else?

Sure looks that way......Looks like Socket PGA604 or LGA Socket 771,775 mounting holes tho

edit: 775 holes in that they are square on

I can also see 4 x SATA, possibly a CF card interface, possibly a Toslink output and various parallel headers. Interesting  :cool:
