At the risk of kicking up a fuss about nothing I thought I'd ask here first.
This last week I ordered 2x Amiga 500 internal floppy drives from Vesalia. The drives arrived but are not the same as the original. Differences are:
1. They are fully enclosed units similar to the A1200 floppy drive.
2. The eject button doesn't line up with the 500 case.
Am I correct in assuming that they sent A1200 or A600 floppy drives that are just not compatible OR am I expected to do some modding to get them to fit? I can see part of a part number on one of the packets that reads 'FB-357'. The packet wasn't sealed though so I can't verify if the bag really does belong to the drive or not.
The only issue I can see or think of is that the Eject button is in the wrong place...too far 'in' by 3mm or so.
Any tips appreciated. I've sent an email to Vesalia but, as I'm in NZ, if they ask for them to be returned I'll start getting sorely out of pocket and 2 drives are going to start costing more than I really wanted to spend.
Thanks
