CF cards still work in my slinged A2091 ... whew!
And yes, I supplied power to the CF<>IDE adapter at the end of the ribbon cable. Nothing. Same as when a card is inserted in the built in CF slot. No LED activity at all upon startup, reset or anything. This thing seems shot to me MRMKL and I'm no stranger when it comes to soldering. I didn't do anything to have caused this thing to fry. Perhaps I could use this still though in my A1000 as a riser so another cfidecp293 could fit in harmony with the disk drive? lol
