Photon Cell animator - Missing anim.
« on: October 21, 2009, 04:04:33 PM »
Hi all years ago I watched a great animation of a fairy drinking from a pool.

I am almost certain that it was on an Art disk that came with Microillusions' Photon Cell Animator.

It was drawn by Heidi Turnipseed and a still from it features on Photon Paint Art disk.
(see attached)

Part of the anim can be seen in this Youtube video from 41 seconds;

Has anyone got this animation on disk?

Hi all,

After a VERY long search, this animation has now been found.

The Angel.anim is now up on Walter Randelshofer's site.
http://www.randelshofer.ch/animations/anims/microillusions/Angel.anim.html

It is slightly shorter than if viewed using the Photon Cell Animator program, as some frames are not reused as they are in the native app.

If you want the .adf images of the disks, they are available on the EAB zone http://eab.abime.net/zone.php? . There is also a readme of the whole search.

Interesting. Very Don Bluth-ey.

I'd love to see that animation edited with the HAM fringing removed, to see those 12 bits of colors without compression.
