Hi,

I am looking for a notepad like software for my workbench 3.1 installation. So far I found FrexxxEd and JanoEditor however JanoEditor seems only to work with a 68020 processor or higher! :(

Any suggestions?

Sim085

Wasn't Notepad the editor included with 1.3 that would utilize and print with the fonts that were included with WB?  Is that the important feature for you?  I don't remember any other free font-sensitive editors for Amiga other than the 'BIG' commercial editors (Final Copy/Writer, Wordworth, etc).

Plain vanilla editors are plentiful. I liked some of the ones mentioned so far, also Blacks Editor, and XDME (both on Aminet).  There was a new one that came out just a few months ago, feature-rich, small footprint, and runs in all flavors of classic (OS1.3 to 3.9).    EDIT: It was REDIT, recently included in the BetterWB compilation.  I haven't had a chance to try it yet.  :)
