Faces of Amiga.org - DNS hiccup
« on: October 22, 2003, 02:15:31 AM »
God damn you, NTL!

Because NTL has basically forced me off the IP address I've been taking for granted, if you try to submit pictures to Faces  of Amiga.org over the next few hours it won't work cause the DNS has to change. The gallery will still be available for all to see, in the meantime if you can't wait, submit your pics using this link:

Sorry for any inconvenience :-(

Even static IP addresses change after a few months. Mine has done twice in a year. I don't know why, but it's not just NTL who do it.

Actually, **real** static IP addresses don't change. That's the whole point with static addresses.

Then you get a dynamic address from your ISP, but with very generous leasing terms!
