PinBall on winUAE is great!
« on: October 22, 2003, 01:19:16 AM »
I've tried hardcore PC pinball games like Pinball Addiction, but running these old AGA pinball games is fun!  :pint: Oh, yes I am drinking, playing PBall Fantasies and Illusions..heh W00t!  Hats off to the WinUae folks! (Only Amiga Emu makes it possible!) ;-)  Now, if I could solve the hi-res modes, I might have an easier time SEEing the pinball..but still..its fun to guess.  :-P

Hmm ;-) I'm thinking I'll dig out Pinball Dreams and ADF it when I've got a spare moment. Probably copy protected though... :-( Does the screen scroll as smooth as on a Miggy? (I only really use UAE for serious apps.)

Pinball Illusions is the one that's also available on PSone IIRC, only called 'True Pinball'. PSone emulation is also fun... lots of cheap games  :-)

Sure, but you'll need at least 400MHz. More than twice that, if you want smooth sound as well.

Almost as smooth! ( well, I have a 2Ghz AMD) there does seem to be some latency on the flippers, but being able to use a cheap thrustmaster joypad makes up for it, as well as the "save-states" instant load. :-P

Pinball dreams and fantasies was the only pinball games i ever liked, could not stand those newer "3d" pinball games on the pc... I still prefer playing them on a real amiga though, winuae just dosent scrool as smooth ;-)   But still fun  :-)

every sane amiga user knows that "SLAMTILT" is the best pinball game on amiga.

anyway use a real amiga, much more fun.

pps: 99% of all pinball games on pc is like pinball mania on amiga :D

Whats up with all the hate!
