Gamesmaster repeats on Challenge (!)

Hello everyone. Another first-time poster (quite a few of those recently it seems. That's encouraging...)

Main point to make here...anyone see Challenge TV today at 6:30pm? The programme after Knightmare (yes, the one where kids wear some kind of viking helmet and are guided through computer generated dungeons, the one with the score display designed on an amiga :-D ).

It was Gamesmaster. The first series.

This means reviews of super Mario 3 and more importantly lots of Amiga coverage!

Excellent! Somebody takes the opportunity to allow people to remember the Amiga, then somebody else releases the AmigaONE so they (the public) will buy it!

So this is why Amiga Inc. have been stalling. Waiting for Gamesmaster to return so people remember the Amiga brand again, saving 1000s on advertising.

I doubt people would decide to purchase the AmigaOne after having seen reviews of old Amiga games, no matter how great they were.

We need new stuff to stand a chance of getting people ( none current Amiga users ) to give the new machine a thought.

We need the machine on the high street and some major promotion.

It is good to see Gamesmaster back on TV though, at least it would be if I could recieve that channel.

I know. But it was just nice to see something nice and retro on TV.

At times, I loathe the present, with the lack of amigas and that ;-)

Hey. It's a start! The road to amiga recovery begins here!

Gamesmaster was a great show but no one is going to say "WOW Look at Street Fighter 2 on the A500, lets buy an AmigaONE from Eyetech and wait for OS4", Knightmare on the other hand is still a good wacky program.

Maybe Antiques Roadshow could do a Amiga special aswell  :-)

Now all is needed are millions of confused, gullible yet highly technically minded people who think they are watching the latest games reviewed, think they can only get them on Amiga and buy an AmigaONE.

Not gonna happen.

But there may be a slight rise in interest at least and an upturn in the Amiga brand recognition (and SNES, Mega Drive, 32X, Mega CD..... :-D )
