To Corrie:

Yea, but Quake II runs much better on my Pentium 4 PC computer, its native platform.  I run Quake II in 1024 X 768 at full speed and no jerkyness at all.  CD quality sound too!     :-D

@Wishmaster

playing Payback on Pegasos or "AmigaOne" is not possible, because it's banging the Paula.

Maybe sound won't work, but I saw Payback being played on an AmigaOne/AOS4 on the Benelux Amiga Show. So it must be possible  :-P

You know what?

I run Q2 at full framrate on my Parhelia in 2048x1536 with x16 antialias and anisotropic filtering. But don't let that stop anyone :-)

Q2 runs faster than both Q1 and Q3 (on x86).
I doubt it will run any slower on either A1 nor Pegasos (with the right gfx board).
*Zap! Zap!* Ha! Take that! *Kabooom!* Hey, that\'s not fair!
