Diavolo Backup for MorphOS
« on: December 03, 2005, 02:14:04 AM »
The first non-SDL port for Morphos.

After months and months of hard, relentless and tenacious negotiations with Computer Corner and 1 day of porting, #amigazeux and iti are proud to present Diavolo Backup - your favourite Backup-utility from the 90s - in MorphOS native flavour.

Heinz M. of #amigazeux commented: "From backing up to tape streamers over other devices and even files everything is possible. I like the boss of the 2nd level most!"

This action packed backup program with GUI elements offers everything the spoiled amiga user needs when he feels bored and is in pressing need to create backups of his most precious data.

One of the best features of this exciting backup program experience with its long lasting appeal is that it doesn't come in any pre-release version. The version you will download is full and free.

Download is available here.

Guys, please, just once, can we have a non-sarcastic press release?

The software you're releasing is great, but the pseudo-trolling jabs are really starting to get childish and annoying.

No, please keep them - the Amiga used to be fun, and looking at it this way, you're keeping the spirit alive. :-)

@c64_d0c

Me cares about it. Since we share almost all our code, APIs, and etc.

Take in count that some appz are ported/backported from OS3.X/OS4/AROS/MOS, so, in my opinion, its related stuff.

If you dont like it, just ignore :) Its not so difficult

Only my opinion here

I suppose "fun" is rather subjective.

The best thing about Diavolo was its MWB palette. It blended perfectly in with my perfect MWB setup in the 90'ies.

it's a GREAT program. it was widely used among demo scene swappers, as it packed the data on the disks aswell. mmm, i have really fond memories of this one. hoping for an AOS4 port aswell.
