I'm not assuming anything. I'm answering those people who have already made erronous posts in this thread thinking the Nolan link means Genesi has rights to use the Atari name.

Let's face it. It ain't gonna happen. The current Atari want the name for a reason and that doesn't include promoting some second rate hardware. They want it purely to market games into an already well established market.

So... you're saying having Nolan Bushnell on board allows you to hijack a brand name that has naff all to do with you?

So THAT's your reply to what I said? Wow, you must have missed every word and nuance except for the word "branding". So here it is again. Pretend the words are really far apart and move your lips while reading if it helps:

"It's not just about branding - it's about an area in two business models where two business plans compliment each other well, it's about leveraging both sets of IP, it's about more working heads and hands and finance to do big jobs."

You really are a moron aren't you?

Time to whip out the ol' schlong again, is it? Hey, DaveP, where's that IQ thread again? Anyway, I needn't assure you that my IQ is more than long enough to get the job done...

(cigarette break while we all stare at the ceiling)

...Then, a couple posts down you say:

Hate to disagree, but it looks like you are assuming that repeating yourself without reading and understanding other responses is adequate. But it is really sub-adequate. And actually, you've carried on a lot more about the name thing than anyone else. It would be a stupid person indeed who would continue to do so when the Phoenix guy who kinda knows all that stuff and takes care of that kind of thing certainly hasn't said the name is the central reason Nolan Bushnell is in Phoenix. If anybody ought to know it would be that guy.

Which then makes the Teron board WHAT? ;  }  After all, the upcoming Peg II has a pretty high spec.
