As much as I'd love a free Zaurus (to eBay), what has this got to do with the Amiga?  They aren't even accepting Amiga / elate applications to the contest.  You have to use their SDK, their stuff.

Not much at all to be honest. :-?

I put it in the miscellaneous section because It doesn't really fit into the Amiga Inc &Partners category anymore. Maybe , just maybe, some Amiga fan might like to win one to install DE   (clutching at straws now):-D

My personal impression about the Amiga Inc/ Sharp deal is that Sharp just saw DE as a gimmicky little thing that ALSO ran on their new Zaurus. Anything that made it look like there was a large potential app base and would add to their marketing hype would suit them just fine.  Amiga Inc seemed to take the relationship more seriously but, unfortunately, not much became of it. .

I agree that this would have been better suited as an off topic forum post rather than a news item.

I shall try to be a bit  more focussed from now on ;-)
